Examples: このジャケットは柔かいし、安いです。 Kono jaketto wa yawarakai shi, yasui desu. This jacket is soft, and what's more, it's inexpensive. ここは駅から遠くないし、通勤に便利です。 Koko wa eki kara tōkunai shi, tsūkin ni benri desu. This place is not far from the station, so it's convenient for commuting to work. その島は静かだったし、景色も美しかった。 Sono shima wa shizukadatta shi, keshiki mo utsukushikatta.
